This World: The Values Network seeks to bring Jewish values to the mainstream culture via the mass media. It is our belief that Judaism, with it's unique emphasis on perfecting the world and celebrating life, can help heal America from some of its greatest challenges including its high rates of divorce, teen alienation, depression, and growing ignorance and materialism.
While Judaism has shaped and molded the two great world religions of Christianity and Islam, it has yet to achieve recognition as a purveyor of ideas in its own right, and its core values are not widely known, not in Jewish circles and certainly not beyond.
This World: The Values Network is built around the teachings of Rabbi Shmuley Boteach and his passion for bringing Jewish values to mainstream American culture as a way of healing and strengthening families, diverting society’s focus from material greed and inspiring children to emulate caring, compassionate relationships. Our renowned lectures, broadcasts, religious services, website and published essays cater to a national audience. Our goal is to inspire more people to eloquently convey Jewish values in print and on the airwaves to both help America heal some of its greatest ills and to inspire Jewish youth with the power of its ideas.
We are committed to advancing a vision of Judaism as a light to the nations and ensuring that America benefits from the light of the Jewish people.
